Improving the ability to capitalize on data does not only empower organizations to be more accountable and effective in responding to people’s immediate needs, but also enables prevention and mitigation.
In this course, you will learn the fundamental aspects of humanitarian data literacy, introducing you to effectively gathering, managing, and utilizing data in crisis response and recovery.
Furthermore, you will explore the transition from raw data to valuable information and knowledge, understanding the critical role of data literacy in humanitarian contexts. Through interactive scenarios, you will learn to apply basic concepts in data management and gain insights into Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) to enhance program effectiveness.
