In humanitarian settings, data processing plays a pivotal role to support decision-making and coordination of the response. To ensure that humanitarian interventions are aligned with the needs on the ground, data from various sources needs to be consolidated, cleaned, and analyzed to create actionable insights. Microsoft Excel is a powerful tool that is used to organize data, perform calculations, analyze information, and represent data in a visual format.
This course aims to provide comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data processing and analysis, spanning three key modules: Excel Essentials, Excel Intermediate, and Excel Advanced. Participants will begin with the Excel Essentials module, where they will learn to navigate the Excel interface, understand basic functions, and develop foundational skills in data entry and formatting.
In the Excel Intermediate module, participants will enhance their proficiency by exploring data analysis techniques, intermediate functions, and data visualization tools. This module emphasizes practical application, allowing learners to clean, filter, and analyze data effectively.
Finally, the Excel Advanced module will focus on high-level skills, including advanced formulas, automation with macros, and specialized data analysis strategies. The training is designed to ensure participants are equipped to leverage Excel's powerful features confidently and efficiently.
